Kay Boswell - Solicitor

Kay Boswell - Solicitor

Kay Boswell qualified in 1982. She is the founder of the firm, which was established as a general practice in 1989, Kay having experience of different types of law including Family, Conveyancing, Crime, Wills and small business work. She has maintained an interest in those types of work to support other members of the firm.

Kay is a member of the Law Society Children Panel and Family Panel, representing parents, other family member and Care cases and where children require to be represented in law proceedings. Kay also represents parents and other family members in disputes such as Residence or Contact, particularly where there are allegations of domestic violence. This requires a distinct and careful approach before the courts.

Kay also has specialised in defence criminal work.

"Since before becoming a solicitor I have had an interest in domestic violence and abuse work. I have worked with women's refuges for many years and have advised organisations as to how solicitors work with those suffering domestic violence. I have extensive experience of obtaining injunctions and other emergency court orders".
